Chinese President said that his country strives to implement trade and investment projects together with Kazakhstan, to step up cooperation in the field of agriculture and industry.
Chinese President Xi Jinping on Saturday held a meeting with Kazakh President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev at the Great Hall of the People (Parliament), during which he discussed the prospects of promoting the interstate cooperation. According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the leaders of the two countries covered a number of key issues of bilateral relations.
"China is ready to deepen mutual political trust with Kazakhstan, promote comprehensive cooperation with your country, and jointly promote development and prosperity," the Chinese Foreign Ministry quoted Xi Jinping as saying. The Chinese President added that Beijing "would always be a reliable friend and partner of Kazakhstan."
Xi Jinping said that China strives to implement trade and investment projects together with Kazakhstan, to step up cooperation in the field of agriculture and industry. Among the promising areas of bilateral cooperation, he stressed interaction in the field of modern medicine, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, digital finance and alternative energy sources.
The Chinese leader noted that the PRC is interested in "an independent, free, stable and prosperous Kazakhstan." He also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states.
"We are ready to deepen cooperation in the field of security, ensure stability in our countries and in the region," Xi Jinping emphasized.
