Russia and China plan to resolve all the issues related to the construction of the high-speed Moscow-Kazan highway by the end of this year, as Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"By the end of the year, we will agree on the construction of the Moscow-Kazan high-speed railway," V. Putin told reporters after talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing.
According to the Russian state leader, the Russian Federation and China are implementing large-scale initiatives to develop transport infrastructure.
"Together we are laying a new highway from Europe to Asia through Russia, in fact, a trans-Eurasian highway designated to improve road communication throughout this vast continent," he said.
In addition, both countries are adjusting new land grain corridor that will help expand Siberian grain exports to China and other countries of the Asia-Pacific region, Putin said.
