The Russian government ordered to allocate up to $2 million to the fund of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization. Funds will be directed to the project to promote sustainable soil management within the framework of the Global Soil Partnership.
The government order was published on the legal information portal. It was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Mr. Mishustin instructed the Russian Foreign Ministry to inform the UN Food and Agriculture Organization about the decision of Moscow. The department must also agree with the Ministry of Finance on the funds transfer conditions and procedure.
