Putin ordered to promptly introduce genetic technologies on an industrial scale

Provide the country with specialists in the field of genetics and promptly implement relevant developments into production. This order was given by the Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“The Government of the Russian Federation, together with the Council for the implementation of the Federal Scientific and Engineering Program for the Development of Genetic Technologies for 2019-2027, shall ensure: ... development of a mechanism for the prompt introduction of applied results in the field of genetic technologies into production, including through the involvement of industrial (technological) partners at the early stages of research and development, including preclinical studies of medicines," the list says.

The report shall be submitted by the 1 of September, and after that date it shall be submitted annually.
