February 8, 2017 in Chita city based on Ministry of Agriculture of the Trans-Baikal Territory was created a working group with participation of representatives from Chita Siberian Customs Federal Customs of Russia, Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Trans-Baikal and Amur Region Department, Ministry of Agriculture of the Trans-Baikal Territory, Ministry of Economic Development of the Trans-Baikal Territory, « Transbaikalian Reference Center of Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance » Federal State Budget Institution, Russian Railways Open Society, «GRAIN TERMINAL ZABAIKALSK» Ltd. Company.
The main purpose of group creation – the implementation on the territory of Trans-Baikal region Initiative "The New land Grain corridor of Russia-China" which supported by the President of Russian Federation, as well as the execution of the Order of the Russian Government from 17th June 2016, prescribing "to ensure coordinated work on the project new land grain corridor Russia-China, including the Grain Terminal Zabaikalsk construction", and the Order of the Government of Russian Federation from 28.12.2016, № 2883-p, prescribing" for integration with the international transport system and enhancing trade and economic cooperation with neighboring countries is supposed to cross-border infrastructure construction and development <...>, the creation of first railway grain terminal Zabaikalsk-Manzhouli.
One of the key results of the Working Group creation should be the preparation of a multilateral, formal Regulations by interaction between the representatives of relevant services, agencies and enterprises,namely Chita Siberian Customs Directorate of FCS of Russia, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of the Trans-Baikal Territory and the Amur Region and its subordinate institutions, "Russian Railways" JSC, "GRAIN TERMINAL ZABAIKALSK "Ltd Company, ensuring effective interaction of listed participants in the "grain corridor" work and in the Siberian grain exports to China, as well as a rapid transit of grain cargo by rail freight and passenger permanent multilateral border checkpoint of the Russian Federation- Zabaykalsk.
