The third Russian-Chinese Subcommittee on a cooperation in the sphere of agricultural industry

On October 20 in Beijing under the chairmanship of Deputy ministers of agricultural industry of Russia and China of Sergey Levin and Qu Dongyu the third meeting of the Subcommittee on a cooperation in the sphere of agricultural industry of the Russian-Chinese Commission on preparation of regular meetings of Heads of governments took place.

Questions of expansion of a bilateral goods turnover of agricultural products, cooperation in the field of veterinary, phytosanitary surveillance were discussed.

Discussion and reports of representatives of LLC GRAIN TERMINAL ZABAYKALSK and the Chinese Corporation COFCO on the course of implementation of the Initiative "A new land grain corridor Russia-China", and constructions of the first and crucial element of " Grain Terminal Zabaykalsk " became one of key agenda items. And also the prospects of development of a cooperation between LLC GRAIN TERMINAL ZABAYKALSK and the Chinese Corporation COFCO.

Within work of the Subcommittee appreciation was given to the Project and it is noted that the Russian and Chinese Ministries of Agriculture support and pay special attention to implementation of the Initiative and a construction of the Terminal.

The Deputy manager of Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Agency of the Russian Federation, Evgeny Nepoklonov also supported active support of the project.

LLC GRAIN TERMINAL ZABAYKALSK on the Subcommittee was represented by Alexey Gradov.
