The Governer of Transbaikal region signed an agreement on terminal constructing

On September, 22nd the Governer of Transbaikal region Konstantin Ilkovsky and the general director of “Trans-baikal grain terminal” LLC Karen Ovsepyan signed an intent agreement for the implementation of the investment project “Siberian grain export to China”. This is the first railway grain terminal in the Transbaikal territory.

Ilkovsky has noted that the first meeting with the leaders of company was occurred about a year ago.

“For this year the company has done a great work: has conducted numerous meetings with “Russian railways” JSC representatives, Russian and Chinese partners and suppliers. Trans-Baikal region has some definite advantages- the existence of state border and the huge areas of arable lands.

Transbaikal and other Siberian regions grown grain will be exporting through Transbaikal grain terminal to China. Producing and selling food is a noble cause. Today grain export-one of the integral part of Russian economy”-the head of region noticed.

Karen Ovsepyan said that terminal creation will be a first step in a big deal of Siberian grain export to China.
