Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to work out an agreement that would increase grain production in the Urals, Far East and Siberia, as well as increase its exports to China. The corresponding item is included in the list of instructions published on Wednesday on the Kremlin website.
One of the paragraphs states: «Consider the issue of concluding an intergovernmental agreement between the Russian Federation and the PRC on the project „New Land Grain Corridor Russia — China“ in order to increase grain production volume in the Far Eastern, Ural and Siberian Federal districts, as well as export volumes to the market of the People’s Republic of China».
The instruction was given to the government of the Russian Federation.
