Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and New Land Grain Corridor LLC signed a mutual cooperation agreement. The signing of the document took place during the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), which is regularly held in Vladivostok from 5 to 8 September.
Within the framework of this agreement, it is planned to implement an investment project for construction and operation of the linear elevator in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
“The project has strategic importance for strengthening Russia's leading position in the global grain market,” said Sergey Pushkin, Director General of the New Land Grain Corridor LLC. — Due to the construction of a modernized elevator in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the region will be integrated into a unique network of seven largest linear elevators in Russia. The Krasnoyarsk elevator is designed for a one-time storage capacity of 200,000 tons of grain with a turnover of 500,000 tons per year. It will also create 120 new workplaces. The elevator launch will contribute to the agriculture development and an increase in the processing of fallow lands in the region.”
According to the agreements, Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation will assist in the selection of investment sites, organizing the interaction of the investor with regional and federal development institutions as well as with educational and scientific organizations, located in the region. In addition, the Corporation will assist in resolving the issues of the investment project staffing.
It should be noted that the group of companies "New Land Grain Corridor" has built the railway Grain Terminal Zabaikalsk (GTZ) in the Trans-Baikal Territory. It is the first in the world and the most powerful complex in Russia, which has a capability to proceed eight million tons of grain per year.
