In 2017, the volume of trade between China and Russia amounted to 84 billion 71 million 97 thousand US dollars, having increased for 20.8 percent compared to 2016. This was announced on Friday by the General Customs Administration of China.
According to data published on the official website of the institution, in 2017 exported volume of Chinese goods to Russia increased by 14.8 percent up to 42 billion 876 million 44 thousand USD, when import of Russian goods to China amounted to 41 billion 195 million 53 thousand USD with an increase of 27.7 percent.
In December 2017, the trade turnover between China and Russia amounted to 8 billion 128 million 604 thousand US dollars. In particular, exports accounted for 4 billion 56 million 222 thousand US dollars, imports — 4 billion 72 million 382 thousand US dollars.
