China spoke about the growth of trade turnover with Russia

The trade turnover between China and Russia in 2018 may exceed $100 billion, and the gradual recovery of the Russian economy along with growth of the market demand became the general factor of its stimulation, Chinese Ministry of Commerce representative Gao Feng said at the Thursday briefing.
«Trade turnover between Russia and China in 2018 may exceed $100 billion, according to the statistics provided by the General Customs Administration of the People’s Republic of China, and in the first 4 months of current year, trade turnover between Russia and China amounted to $ 31.2 billion, that is almost 30% more than for the same period of 2017,» the representative noted.
He stressed that «it was driven mostly by the consistent stabilization of Russian economy and the increase in the market demand, which became a stimulating factor for exports of Chinese production to the Russian Federation, in the first four months of this year it grew by 21.1% compared to the same period of the previous year».
