On October 10 in Moscow under the chairmanship of the Deputy minister of economic development of Russia Alexander Tsybulsky and the Deputy minister (in the rank of the Minister) commerce of the People's Republic of China Zhong Shan, the 19th meeting of the Subcommittee on trade and economic cooperation of the Russian-Chinese Commission on preparation of regular meetings of Heads of governments has taken place.
Questions of expansion of trade and economic cooperation, increase in bilateral commodity turnover and some other questions were discussed.
Special attention in the agenda has been paid to discussion of questions of strengthening of bilateral trade in agricultural production and simplification of terms of trade.
In the final protocol of the Subcommittee it is noted:
- "The parties support large-scale strengthening of bilateral trade in agricultural production and will render every possible assistance to national regulators in elimination of the available barriers."
- "The subcommittee supports implementation of the project of creation by the Russian and Chinese companies "A new land grain corridor Russia-China" and constructions of the Grain Terminal Zabaykalsk."
