Russia has started the implementation of the 12-year contract signed in Beijing at the One Belt, One Road forum for the supply of 70 million tons of grain to China. Regular deliveries are made via the Russia-China New Land Grain Corridor. Transportation is carried out in specialized grain carriers, which are part of the "land grain fleet" of the New Land Grain Corridor Group of Companies. Trains with special containers, produced and certified according to the specifications of the NLGC Group of Companies, with soybeans and barley are shipped to China from the Zabaikalsk grain terminal.
The project of GC NLGC on the creation of the largest "land grain fleet" in Russia will provide one-time transportation of up to 600 thousand tons of grain and an annual turnover of up to 8 million tons. Thanks to design solutions, the universal transportation system is provided with 100% "round-trip" loading. Delivering grain products to China and other friendly countries, in the opposite direction special containers will deliver a wide range of goods allowed for transportation in them.
Land grain fleet is formed within the framework of the logistics concept "Grain +" developed by GC NLGC, which, among other things, is aimed at creating efficient logistics through containerization of bulk grain transportation and ensuring their 100% loading in "both directions", which reduces to zero empty mileage of railway vehicles.
