The government expanded the areas of grant support for agricultural manufacturers. Now federal budget grants will be available to agricultural manufacturers implementing projects in the fields of feed and feed additives for animals, development of breeding and seed production of oilseeds, improvement of the beef cattle genetics and viticulture development.
To be qualified for a grant in the four new areas, a manufacturer shall work within the framework of an integrated scientific and engineering project (ISEP) in the agro-industrial complex.
The grant funds can be used to purchase materials and equipment for molecular biological, bioengineering and genetic work, as well as various agricultural equipment.
The subsidies will provide agricultural manufacturers with the opportunity to introduce competitive domestic technologies and reduce dependence on foreign equivalents.
Among the expected results is development of new domestic varieties of oilseeds, improved breeds of cattle, as well as the development and manufacture of new feed additives for animals.
In total, in 2022, over a billion rubles will be allocated for grant support of agricultural complex scientific and engineering projects, including new areas.
